I’ve been MIA for a while. Life and all. But 2018 is the year I want to start blogging again because I still sew (a lot), I miss telling others about it and IG is just not cutting it (the timeline drives me crazy) 2018 is also the year I want to stop caring about my weight. Opal Waterfall Coatigan

Sometimes inspiration strikes on the very last day. Last week it was still really cold and I still didn’t have a winter coat. I didn’t find one in stores that I liked and I didn’t have the courage to sew one all winter. What can I say? I love planning.

Since finishing up my Laundry Challenge I´ve been thinking hard about my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. For me Autumn starts on Septembre 1st AKA First Day of School. Since I´ll likely be starting at a new school ( I´m still hoping for a job at my old school, but I´m being realistic) , I´ll have tons of new prep work to do in September (and afterwards) so it´s not likely I´ll have a lot of time to sew, especially since it´ll be my first time going back to work since having baby 2.
